Alicante (Spain), 25th March 2010: IPR Practical Guides Presentation
The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM), in the framework of the IPeuropAware project, is co-organising with the Institute of Small and Medium-Sized Valencian Industry (IMPIVA), Enterprise Europe Network, is organizing the seminar “Intellectual Property Rights Practical Guides for Shoes, Leather Goods, Furniture, and Textiles-Clothing, Sectors”, to be held in Alicante (Spain) on 25th March 2010.
To help SMEs make use of the wide range of instruments that are available to protect intellectual property, the EU-funded project “IPeuropAware – IP Awareness and Enforcement: Modular Based Actions for SMEs”, has developed guides for industries that are particularly hard hit by counterfeiting (textiles, furniture, leather goods and shoes). The aim of this event is to present these manuals and to explain the role of the IPeuropAware project. In addition, OEPM and IMPIVA will present their innovation support services and representatives from the industry will give details on their IPR strategies.
The event is free of charge.
