United Kingdom. Modifications to the UK Patents Act 1977
 
The UK Parliament recently adopted a new Act modifying the UK Patents Act 1977 that regulates the patent system in the United Kingdom.

This law, entitled "Patents Act 2004", aims to update the Patents Act of 1977, to bring the UK patent system in conformity with the revised European Patent Convention of November 2000 and to introduce some measures designed to assist in the enforcement of patent rights and the resolution of patent disputes.
